From the very beginning I said I loved Styxx there was just something about him that I knew I loved and that what we was seeing wasn t exactly true to why he was doing the things he wasMy friend who is the 1 to get me on Kenyon books said she didn t like him at all and his such a dk but I said nope your wrong watch an see welllllll when we read this she looked at me and said you was right Could not ut it down just amazing and he isn t what he was ortrayed to see Everything I say in this review will be a spoiler which I
hardly ever do So I will keep it short and sweetThis ever do So I will keep it short and sweetThis is much like Acheron s where we see his life from the beginning NOTE It helps if you ve read the short stories Acheron has a bad time but so did Styxx At some oints Styxx had it worseHis character arc within the other books does come to make sense with this book What I don t understand is why eople characters and other readers included have come to hat Acheron I ll admit that what he s done in the
books is disturbing but he unishes himself enough He s also not all knowing which the characters in is disturbing but he The Magnanimous Heart punishes himself enough He s also not all knowing which the characters in book happen to know as do the reviewers though opinions alway differI do love Styxx towards the end of the novel His growth and maturation is well crafted and theacing of the novel is okay despite its length I am however a little aggravated by the I love this author she is amazing in all of her books and I have all of them her romance scenes are very detailed and very intense some then others make sure these books do not fall into the hands of your young readersThis articular book is ossibly the most heart wrenching of all in her dark hunter series the dark hunter series will follow a main character through each book and each one has dealt with some unimaginable life trauma and each develops their own strengths as a resultas someone who has read all of them and has been through life traumas myself I still struggle getting through this book do not let this be your first book in this series go to her I found that this was a really hard read The content of the first about 65 70% was truly heartbreaking I Over Mintmarks and Hot Repunched Mintmarks personally feel that there should have been a warning about the content before starting reading it There was a very high torture and rape content which to be honest I found too much at times I felt that it went a bit too far and on too long I got theoint that he had a horrendously abusive childhood and was treated badly by almost everyoneI was reading it at the same time as a friend and we re both avid Dark Hunter readers I admit that if I hadn t been able friend and we re both avid Dark Hunter readers I admit that if I hadn t been able share my feelings with her whilst reading I am not sure I would have been able to get through the Ancient Greek time eriodAcheron was not nice in this book and I d go as far as saying I actually really disliked him intently Seeing Ryssa from Styxx s oint of view actually made me glad the way circumstances unfolded she was a rather dislikeable One Day in December person A complete turnabout as she was great in AcheronHowever once werogressed from the nightmare that was Styxx s early life it moved to a typical Dark Hunter novel and reading it was much easier He than deserved his HEAI can t say that I enjoyed this novel because that feels wrong after everything that happened within it I did enjoy Styxx getting his HEA and some of the unexpected moments during the early Alamo Story: From Early History to Current Conflicts part of the book Whilst the writing was excellent and it was great to finally see the truth behind Styxx but in the main it was too hard to read Havingre ordered this book on my kindle a while back I read the lastest instalment of the Dark Hunter world with bated breath as I had not been so impressed with the last couple of books that Kenyon wrote However Styxx has to be one of the best yet and I articularly enjoyed reading the authors note at the beginning as Kenyon is upfront about the fact that there is no docu. Sherrilyn Kenyon's most highly anticipated novel in the Dark Hunter series since Acheron is here the unforgettable story of Styxx Acheron's twin brother and one of the most owerful beings on Earth Just when you thought doomsday was over Centuries ago Acheron saved the human race by imprisoning an ancient evil bent on absolute destruction Now that evil has been unleashed and it is out for revenge As the twin to Acheron Styxx hasn’t always been on his brother's side They'. that she is writing about for Styxx and Acheron s asts I enjoyed reading this she is writing about for Styxx and Acheron s asts I enjoyed reading this and think that it is the standout along with Acheron as the best two books in the series The detail in the writing describing Styxx The First Secret of Edwin Hoff past and how it differs so greatly from what Acheron has always said about his brother is spectacular and it really captures theain that he felt I would recommend this book to anyone but warn them to read the rest of the series first before they delve into this as it answers a lot of unsolves uestions about Styxx and about why he layed his art in earlier books and how he was ersuaded to join the Dark Hunters fight against Stryker I think this is the best Dark Hunter book I loved Acheron s book but this one has become my favorite I read a reply from Sherrilyn to a uestion asking why she wrote a book about Styxx because after reading about Ash Styxx was not so likeable Her answer was really roven correct to me after reading Styxx s story there really are two sides to every tale I honestly think I like Styxx and feel for him after reading his side of his and Ash s life And I kind of started disliking Ash a little bit but the ending País íntim proved the Ash that I grew to like in all of the other Dark Hunter books before was still true I highly recommend reading Styxx s story it will make you tear up I think this is the first time I ve given Ms Kenyon less than a 4 I love the Dark Hunter series and all the novellas and WereDreamers books and let s not talk about how Acheron is by far my favorite character that is until Styxx In Acheron I cried for him for his situation and the unfairness of his life and I was glad that at least he had his sister on his side On this book I bleed for Styxx he had it worse than Acheron and I think Ms Kenyon used the rape factor by far too much in this book I do believe she gives a good excuse as to why Styxx washysically abused so much but she went on and on with scenes that could have been avoided and the Under Lock and Key past of the book was dragged too much with the element of rape being the mostrominent factor of itStyxx s life was harsh his father s expectations and doubts about his birth circumstances were heavy on him His sister was an utter b i t c h if I liked her in the first book in this one she has become one of my most hated characters of all times she s worse than Voldemort and Dolores Umbridge mixed together She was such a b i t c h and terrible unfair with Styxx she was itiful and resentful and the loved I felt she had for Ash in Acheron s book felt almost obsessive as if she too couldn t avoid the want of wanting Acheron for herself And let s not go to his uncle because next to his sister those two were horribleStyxx was gorgeous his life as a soldier was my favorite aspect of the book the way he was so fair with his army and nothing stopped the fact he was noble inside and outside He was an old soul in a child s body and his relationship with his Master and later father figured was amazing Styxx and Beth were lovely one of the best couples from the Dark Hunter series I loved how even later in resent time Styxx never complained about life and unfairness he just kept going on loving Beth and his unborn childFrom the Lignin Biodegradation: Microbiology, Chemistry, and Potential Applications: Volume II presentart of the book I loved Styxx and Urian s relationship I loved Urian as a character and knowing who was his father made me love him a bit The fact he never Something Wicked pushed Styxx and respected him never judging was one of the best aspects of the bookThe ending felt extremely rushed and I felt lost in occasions because so many things were going on and Ash was an as s h ole for the mostart of the book if not the entire book and Styxx was still suffering other s Velvet Ropes (Club Undercover peoples hate on him He just wanted to be free free and alone even if he always hated being alone when he was a child The fact I felt it was a rape fest most of. Ve spent centuries going at each other's throats thanrotecting their backs Now Styxx has a chance to rove his loyalty to his brother but only if he's willing to trade his life and future for Acheron's The Atlantean goddess of Wrath and Misery Bethany was born to right wrongs But it was never a task she relished Until now She owes Acheron a debt that she vows to repay no matter what it takes He will join their fellow gods in hell and nothing is going to stop her But thin.
Free download ✓ PDF, DOC, TXT or eBook ä By Sherrilyn KenyonThe book and the ending was extremely rushed took a lot of enjoyment of this book I had to ut it "Aside For A Second Because "for a second because rape scenes were a turn off even if th I don t think I can describe how this book made me feel It s also hard to say much about it without spoiling it so I m not going to go into the story s twists and turns and there were alot Acheron was a hard book to read and man did you wanna murder Styxx in it for what he did to Ash But then you read Styxx and you are blown away No one knew Styxx I don t think anyone saw this book coming It is heartbreaking Truly heartbreaking He had it worse than Ash He really truly did I actually hated Ash in this book for what happened to Styxx and even at the end I wasn t 100% certain I wanted to forgive him even though he deserved forgiveness Total new Pjesme perspective Absolute must read for those who have followed these books from the beginning and for new comers to the world of the Dark HuntersMy only complaint while I was reading it would be that while reading it on my Kindle I was ever conscious of the fact that I was getting further and further into the book and we were still in Ancient GreeceAtlantis I kept wanting to know when we d hit the modern era like in Ash s book and see Styxx and Beth Styxx and Ash etc in theresent It was incredibly frustrating when reading thinking that it would all be rushed and it was because I was expecting it to be like Ash s book This isn t Ash s book and Styxx and Beth didn t need to meet and fall in love like Ash and Tory they never stopped being in love and that was my mistakeI would ve liked time in the resent but I can t wait for a re read now I know I don t have to worry about the amount of time in Ancient Greece taking away from Styxx s future as with all Kenyon s books our man gets the future he deserves in the end and it was wonderful Even if the amount of abuse in this book makes it hard to read at timesI can t wait to see Styxx in further releases he totally stole my heart The magnitude of the emotional roller coaster that this took me on Wow I thought after reading Ascheron that I would never ever sympathize with Styxx but BOY was I wrongthis is ainful in the same way Acheron was BUT with the addition of a stronger character with the capacity to love greatly and be so selfless If you read Acheron you MUST and I mean must read Styxx it s going to blow your mind Also the last like 30 ages are sooooooo gratifying after all that Styxx encounters so hang in there it s worth the journeyall 2 million ages of it Oh disclaimer I ve only read Ascheron and Styxx none of the other titles in the series but never felt lost These two stand well alone but the other titles in the series but never felt lost These two stand well alone but greatly suggest reading To start with read Acheron before you read this bookSherrilyn Kenyon takes one of her most hated characters and completely flips the story we thought we knew in Acheron s book You come away from Acheron s book hating Styxx and after reading Styxx many feel like they hate Acheron An amazing bit of writingOne of Kenyon s theories is there are three sides to every story with the third being the truth somewhere in the middle For those that feel like hating Acheron after reading Styxx remember that a lot of Acheron s book is not from his oint of view but from a third erson the sister The real evil in this book is the Greek gods and the uncle and the Atlantean gods alsoThere is graphic A'dan Z'ye Yaşar Kemal physical and sexual abuse in this book In no way is itresented as OK It and those that commit these abuses are
presented as the disgusting scum they are It is hard to stomach andas the disgusting scum they are It is hard to stomach and to beI think the two books Acheron and Styxx together have a lot to say about life And like most of Kenyon s books we see the main character suffer a lot but are given hope in the end as things turn out good And I think that is what makes Kenyon s books so great to read. Gs are never what they seem and Acheron is no longer the last of his line Styxx and Acheron must Nacht put aside theirast and learn to trust each other or will suffer Yet it's hard to risk your own life for someone who once tried to take yours even when it's your own twin And when loyalties are skewed and no one can be trusted not even yourself how do you find a way back from the darkness that wants to consume the entire world One that wants to start by devouring your very sou.
