Daring The Moon E–pub/Kindle

Daring the Moon got 4 from me bc I liked the characters and for that reason will most likely check out book 2 Seducing the Moon that reason will most likely check out book 2 Seducing the Moon read Declan s story But this story rates closer to 3 for me bc the mystery was too easy to solve and very early onThe story starts off with Taite an investigator with the Pima County Attorney s Office rebuffing the flirtations of a co workerattorney John Sumner who she previously dated but felt no connectionFor some unknown reason assuming it s a result of a case she worked on Taite has picked up a stalker But now in addition she gets spooked one night in a parking lot by a werewolf She tells her best friend Declan O Connell who doesn t believe her at first The werewolf attacks again while they are driving now Declan s a believer Declan is a former special forces

Commando With The Royal Marines
with the Royal Marines they dated briefly in the past it became clear early on to them both that their relationship was that of siblings and not romantic Declan is the ind of man many men wanted to be and the Introduction to African American Studies kind of man most women just plain wanted and he has a yummy accent In order toeep Taite safe and figure out what to do Declan suggests they go to seek the help of his long time friend and writer of all things wolfy Ryder Merrick He believes Ryder will be able to help based on all the research he s done for his booksTaite Declan travel to the small island in the Isles of Scilly to find some answers and help stopping her werewolf stalker When they arrive Ryder is very unwelcoming and wants them to leave ASAP He doesn t want them around because the full moon is approaching see where I m going with this Ryder and Taite have an immediate like hard at first sight immediate connection Their relationship builds uickly but you forgive the writer a bit bc the sex is pretty hot Ryder worries about how will she react when she learns of his curse Taite worries about falling for a man when she first needs to find answers not a romanceWell now you probably don t even have to read the book but that s the jist see why it s such a uick read for those who are interested in than the blurbEven though there wasn t much mystery to the mystery and not much build up to the relationship I liked all the characters in the story Taite is strong and sassy Declan is protective and has the hottie brogue accent Ryder with a British accent is also an endearing man who struggles with the loss of his father and life with a curse while caring for and being cared for by a Man Friday of sorts who resides with him Cobb I also like the addition of Ryder s father grandfather and great grands journals that provide insight into the lives they lived while struggling with and explaining the family curseFormat Read eBook For a random book I picked up this book sure surprised me Loved the story Based on the premise and the blurb it sounded like there d be a good bit of suspensemystery to this book to go along with the paranormal romance so I didn t get uite what I expected here The mystery what there was of it was rather heavy handed and awkward and there just wasn t much to it That hurt the read for me really though the romance itself was well done and enjoyable and uinn definitely has a talent for writing the scenes with steam so those didn t disappoint As an erotic paranormal romance this hits all the write notes and is well worth a read for fans of the genre Readers looking for books with the promised mysterysuspense however will probably find themselves disappointed so whether or not I d recommend this probably depends on what a reader is looking for versus what the book itself seems to promise Fairly nice middle of the road werewolf read It could have been tightly plotted with a little thought put to the world building The emotions between the hero and heroine were not as solid as they could have been I didn t really feel the love Kudos though to the author for making the heroine scared at first and really having to put some thought into accepting him once she newI am interested enough to continue with the series but I was able to put this down and read 3 books in the middle of this one The plot is very erotic I liked this book it very uick easy read with lots of hot sex but that s really all it is to it The mystery is one you get in the middle of the book I liked Taite she is stubborn It takes a lot of ruffle Taite Gibson investigator with the Pima County Attorney's Office But the enormous snarling werewolf that's stalking her through the streets of Tucson Yeah that oughta do it Those terrifying attacks convince Taite to seek out Ryder Merrick a reclusive Briti. .
Oine has been unable to sleep unable to rest nowing somewhere out there a man is stalking her He sends her gifts and follows her she man is stalking her He sends her gifts and follows her she feel him in the darkness when she s alone and it disturbs her greatly Now if matters weren t bad enough she s got a rabid wolf following her as wellonly turns out it s not just a wolf but a werewolf Crazy as it soon and unbelievable as it is she s being stalked by a freaking werewolf She confides in her best friend about her problems he himself baring witness to an attack as well He recommends his friend in Cornwall for answers convincing the heroine to travel with him across the sea to the small secluded island where the hero lives out his days in loneliness and torment His entire life he s Alcohol Addiction know of the curse plaguing his family He s been told by his father that what lies within is evil and as such the hero has become a recluse Chained to his tiny secluded island with only a faithful butler as company the hero spends his days writing and walking his prison When the heroine and his friend show up reuesting answers to uestions he musteep silent about he is standoffish and rather rude but he does what he needs to do He can t have company during the full moon and the heroine is a far greater temptation that he s ever faced The second he smells her the moment he lays eyes on her he Mobilizing New York knows the risk is too great He wants her too badly She must leave no matter how she pleads for help no matter how of an asshole he presents himself to be Better to be scorned and left alone than to let the beast inside hurt someone The heroine soon begins to feel the presence of that evil thing she fled America to escape The hero is a stubborn and hard man who is withholding information from her and refusing to help her But she too feels the intense sexual attraction between them They try to fight it but in the end the passion is too great For a moment in time though henows he can t Aspects of South African Literature keep her the hero feels at peaceThen everything falls down around him The werewolf attacks and in the process the hero is bitten Now he must confess to what he s alwayseep hidden and the horror on the heroines face even after he tells her he loves her is almost too much to bare How can she love a beast She can t He can t blame her for her scorn but it hurts all the same Though when they are attacked again and the heroine taken he will risk everything and do anything to get her back safe and soundThis book favored heavily on the Erotic side of romance and though I didn t particularly like that genre this book had a heathy amount of true passion and even honest pain to make up for the sometimes disturbingover the top sex scenes Disturbing in that the werewolf was a fucking animal and rather grotesue in his sexual deviance Over the top in that the love scenes between the main characters were explicit and reminiscent of a Lora Leigh novel But lucky this book was made bearable but the brief moments of heart and human emotion The hero lost in a world of torment and self loathing he was thought to be a huge dick by the heroine upon first meeting He was polite but rather obvious in his hast to get her gone He came across as dismissive and that was on purpose He lived with the pain of The Barefoot Girl: A Novel of St. Margaret, Patroness of the Abused knowing the beast insideept him from human interactions and connections He was lonely and desperate to feel that ray of sunshine the heroine brought into his world The heroine was a bit dramatic and every time she was alone she was skittish and convinced things were lurking out of sight True the werewolf was stalking her but it got a little boring to have her always running away from ghosts They characters had a nice romanceThis book started off extremely slowly but managed to pick up somewhat towards the end when the shit hit the fan It wasn t perfect and for the most part hit the fan It wasn t perfect and for the most part can say I wasn t over the moon with it but it had redeemable ualities to it that I appreciated This book has a great story line and ept me intrigued until the last page It was my first werewolf book and I may be hooked now The only first werewolf book and I may be hooked now The only was the irritating main woman She literally pissed me off sometimes to a point where I wished the men would have seriously thrown her to the wolves Her insistence and constant nagging to now during the most dire times made me want someone to throat punch her Other than herI loved the book. Lush sweet scent and gorgeous curves tempting him to give in to every wicked hunger And as a full moon rises the only way to eep Taite safe from the evil that's followed her here is to convince her to trust in an attraction that's deeply dangerous and wilder than she ever guessed. T times but with everything going on in her life she has the right to be I liked Rider he on in her life she has the right to be I liked Rider he lived on the island so long by himself you now what he is in need for plus he gets to be the hero But I found Taite and Rider together hard to swallow they seemed rushed and missing that pop that makes them stick in you mind good The book leaves you with a good ending that tells you to expect Declan s book next The beginning of this book was a rough read for me and everything felt a little bit forced and over the top in terms of the story itself but things smoothed out after about fifty pages once the main characters came together There were still some issues along the way the paramount one being that everyone seemed to accept the reality of werewolves far too uickly and easily but the writing and the story both got stronger as the book moved along I think this is a book that only paranormal romance readers would enjoy as there s not a whole lot to the story itself or to the suspensemystery that s been pulled in beyond the relationship it sets off but it wasn t a bad read overall I definitely wanted and expected suspensemystery given the description so that threw off my expectations going into it but it was a uick escape I haven t decided yet whether or not I ll read the next book in the series Daring the Moon is an OK contemporary werewolf story by Sherrill uinn I would have enjoyed it if the story had been a bit tighterTaite is running from a stalker and a werewolf Both she and her friend are positive that s what they sawa manwho turned into a wolfman When her buddy suggests a visit to his college pal who is an expert on werewolves Taite figures why not Her immediate and strong attraction to the ruggedly handsome author becomes complicated when those chasing her arrive on the author s remote islandRyder is a successful authorand a werewolf Only his loyal helper nows the truth of his existence So when his old buddy calls wanting to show up with a damsel in distress close to the full moon Ryder reluctantly tells him not to come When his buddy arrives anyway with Taite in tow Ryder is almost helpless against his attraction for her But someone else has arrived on his islandanother werewolf with an agenda all his "own Could have been so much better The relationship just didn t " Could have been so much better The relationship just didn t true it seemed to be about the sex than about growing emotions And I had the ending mostly figured out by the end of the second chapter I love werewolf books and for months I ve seen this in my bookstore and picked it up and put it down countless times but finally caved as it was 3 for 2 on all paperbacks and I wanted to try a different authorIt takes a lot of ruffle Taite Gibson investigator with the Pima County Attorney s Office But the enormous snarling werewolf that s stalking her through the streets of Tucson Yeah that oughta do itThose terrifying attacks convince Taite to seek out her old friend Declan O Connal who will help Taite find the answer s she seeks about werewolfs by going to Ryder Merrick a reclusive British horror writer reputed to now everything about werewolves including how to Modern English in Action (Level 12) kill them On his remote private island Ryder can live safely with the beast inside him unable to harm others or himself Then Taite arrives her lush sweet scent and gorgeous curves tempting him to give in to every wicked hunger And as a full moon rises the only way toeep Taite safe from the evil that s followed her here is to convince her to trust in an attraction that s deeply dangerous and wilder than she ever guessedDaring the Moon was pretty much what I expected a nice interesting read with another author s take on werewolf s I wouldn t say Daring the Moon was amazing but I did enjoy reading it I liked the character s a great deal Taite makes a great heroine not only is she stalked by a werewolf but she also has a human stalker sending her gifts at work She has spunk and although she s scared she ll fight to regain her life again I thought she was a great character but she did annoy me at timesAlthough Daring the Moon isn t part of a series there are two other books that follow on from Daring the Moon Seducing the Moon which features Declan who is another main character in Daring the Moon and Taming the Moon I m looking forward to reading the other two books at some point too For months the her. Sh horror writer reputed to Nature-Inspired Metaheuristic Algorithms know everything about werewolves including how toill them Turns out he also The Alchemical Mandala A Survey of the Mandala in the Western Esoteric Traditions knows how to leave her shaking with desireOn his remote private island Ryder can live safely with the beast inside him unable to harm others or himself Then Taite arrives her.
