David Shields publisher and NetGalley forroviding an ARC in return for an honest review Rachel and her cousin Mary Aaron are on a girl s Learner Strategies in Language Learning picnic when they find the body of an Amish girl She had left 2 yea Plain Killing is the second book in Emma Miller s An Amish Mystery series This reader is getting to love her mysteries She is very informed in the way of the Amish and she has a way of making her stories seem so realistic I found it to give new meaning to edge of seat reading with unpredictable situations a time or two in the book It actually boarder on suspense Miller was well researched on the subject of human trafficking and it served her well on theages of this book In both of the books in this series Miller has Dangerously Placed placed her main Character in a dangerous heartounding situationsIf you love Amish Fiction and cozy mysteries you will not want to miss this book It can be read as a stand alone but I recommend that you read Book one of the series first since the characters are carried over to book two I gave it five Stars and I hope you will enjoy it as much as this reader did I downloaded a ebook copy of Plain Killing from the Ohio Digital Library Fe a year ago causing her to be shunned by her family and her Just Destiny people But if Beth had joined the English world why was she found dressed in Amish clothing and strangled Rachel's boyfriendolice detective Evan Park is getting nowhere with uestioning Beth's family He's also troubled over the fate of three other Amish girls who left Stone Mill in the last two years As someone who gave up the Plain lifestyle herself then returned.
